Thanks for checking out Gold Window Restoration. I’m Barnaby. I've been restoring historic windows for ten years. It began when I bought a house that had 20 windows that were all caulked shut. Even the bathrooms! When I worked out how to pull a lower sash in the main bathroom, I said to myself, "I guess I better learn how to get this back in." Thus, the journey began.

I am a member of the Window Preservation Alliance, the Preservation Trades Network, and have attended several restoration workshops around the country, including a scholarship to the storied, Pine Mountain Settlement in Kentucky. I am RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) trained and registered with the EPA for lead-safe work. Suffice it say, I'm a nerd for this stuff and I look forward to working on your project.

While I specialise in full restoration, I offer a range of in-between services and endeavour to educate clients about the best approach for their specific window issue.
